Proderm Technology is a well proven technology for skin treatment. It is made up of a well balanced combination of lipophilic and hydrophilic components. Proderm Technology doesn’t just stay on the top of the skin’s surface. Proderm’s specific mixture of fatty free acids strengthens the skin’s lipid composition leading to reinforcement of the natural barrier function and a softening of the skin. At the same time, immediate moisturizing can be ensured by a subtle combination of moisturizing substances. Proderm Technology penetrates the outer layer of the skin where it forms a semi-permeable membrane, with a lipophilic side that protects the skin from external irritants and a hydrophilic side that helps prevent trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). This optimizes the conditions for the skin’s natural repair.
